KV Bergen

The Norwegian Coast Guard vessel KV Bergen is seen here in Leith.

She is an Ice strengthened multi-purpose ship with hybrid propulsion.  The propulsion consists of a conventional CP propeller in nozzle driven either mechanically from the main engine.

She has a crew of 40

She is seen here preparing to sail.

HMS PORTLAND

Hms Portland a Duke Class Type 23 Frigate arrived in the Port of Leith today to participate in the Armed Forces Day / Weekend in the city.
